This policy explains what personal data ARUMYZ collects through this website, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Who we are

ARUMYZ is operated by Duarte Patrício, based in Portugal, who is the data controller for the information collected here. You can reach us at arumyz.company@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist we store your email address and a record of your consent — the date and time, the version of this notice you agreed to, the topics you chose to hear about, and the page you signed up from. We do not collect your name, payment details, or behavioural tracking on this site.

Why we collect it & legal basis

We use your email, on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), to add you to our waitlist and to contact you about the ARUMYZ launch and Kickstarter campaign, plus the topics you selected (product updates, events, promotions). You can withdraw consent at any time — every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Who processes your data

Our email list is stored and managed by Kit (kit.com, formerly ConvertKit), acting as our data processor. Your email is stored on their secure infrastructure. See Kit's privacy policy.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe, or until we close the waitlist — whichever comes first. After that, your email is removed from active lists.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you can at any time:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Correct it if it is wrong
• Ask us to delete it (right to be forgotten)
• Withdraw your consent
• Receive a copy of your data (portability)
• Lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority — in Portugal, the CNPD (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados)

International transfers

Kit is based in the United States. Where your data is processed outside the EU/EEA, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
